Flush Mounted Mini Magnetic Contact Switch Alarm Contacts
Production Description
Operating Principle
- Components: Typically consists of two main parts: a magnet and a magnetic sensor (reed switch).
- Operation:
- When the magnet is close to the sensor, the magnetic field causes the reed switch to close, completing an electrical circuit.
- When the magnet moves away, the switch opens, breaking the circuit.
.
Components
Reed Switch: The main component consisting of two ferromagnetic blades (reeds) hermetically sealed in a glass envelope.
Magnet: The external component that actuates the switch.
Types
Normally Open (NO): The switch remains open until a magnetic field is applied.
Normally Closed (NC): The switch remains closed until a magnetic field is applied.
Changeover: A three-terminal device where one terminal is common, and the other two terminals switch between normally closed and normally open states.
